This book captures/delineates a very unique spiritual phenomenon for mankind - the transformation in the colour of the nails and toes of H.H. Dr. Athavale, a Parātpar Guru or a Saint of the highest order. These changes are Divine in nature and bestow Divine consciousness (Chaitanya), positivity on the entire Universe. Lives of Saints are mysterious. It is difficult to understand their intricacies. When they progressively reach close to God, their psychological and intellectual features (due to actual dissolution of the mind and intellect) undergo changes. These changes take place due to their spiritual practice; because the sattvaguṇa (Sattva component) in the individual increases and he acquires Chaitanya. Later, he progresses from being a Saint to being a Guru, Sadguru and finally to a Parātpar Guru. In this process, he progresses from the level of Chaitanya to the levels of Ānand (Bliss) and finally Shānti (Peace). In short, he progressively acquires Divine qualities. Many have theoretical information on the changes in qualities. Along with the changes in qualities, there are physical changes in the body too. In other words, Divinity is visible in the physical form too; hence, these are called ‘Divine changes’. However, so far no one seems to have studied this aspect. Only Parātpar Guru H.H. Dr. Athavale, has studied this aspect. The special characteristics of H.H. Dr. Athavale are His intense curiosity and His quality of making available the results of His research and new knowledge for the benefit of mankind and not keeping it to Himself. Various aspects such as why H.H. Dr. Athavale’s nails are pink, why the yellow colour of His nails turned white etc. which symbolise His Incarnate mission are also explained in this book. Another feature of this book is that it has been compiled by H.H. Dr. Athavale Himself; as no one can throw light on His own significant aspects but He Himself and because of His yearning that all should understand new aspects of Spirituality, which have so far not been published anywhere else, in an appropriate manner. As the features of His life and mission etc. are associated with Spirituality and the Brahmānḍa (Universe) at the samashṭi (for the sake of the society) level, the writing is very important.
